Viz Pilot Edge 1.5.1

These are the release notes for Viz Pilot Edge 1.5.1. This document describes the user-visible changes that have been done to the software since release 1.5.0.
Fixed Issues

The Show more button in the element search dialog now works both when a concept is selected and when no concept is selected. (VPE-3183)
System Requirements
Hardware
There are no known hardware limitations for Viz Pilot Edge, other than requirements stipulated by newsroom systems that are hosting the client.
Software
If running Viz Pilot Edge inside a browser, the following minimum requirements apply:

Upgrading
When upgrading from a previous version of Pilot Edge, the previous version may still be presented by the host browser for a short time due to client side caching.
Clear the host browser cache To prevent this. If you are using the default Internet Explorer host, open Internet Explorer, press CTRL + SHIFT + DELETE, select Temporary Internet files and website files and click DELETE.
Important Notes

If there are any issues with map fields when running in Microsoft Internet Explorer 11 +, remove include all local sites not listed in other zones and turn off detection of intranet zones in the IE11 policy settings. (VPE-2329)
Known Issues

Graphic elements in timelines created using the Pilot Edge plug-in in OpenMedia do not show up in Director's MOS playlist. (VPE-2193)

In Octopus 8, images of 4K resolution and above are not supported due to memory constraints. (VPE-2412)

In Octopus 8, keyboard navigation via TAB does not work reliably due to constraints in Octopus. (VPE-2615)
Viz Pilot Edge 1.5.0

These are the release notes for Viz Pilot Edge 1.5.0. This document describes the user-visible changes that have been done to the software since release 1.4.1. This release adds precision and flexibility to element and template searches, and greatly increases the search speed.
Changes and New Features

Improved the speed of loading templates and elements. (VPE-2634)

Added more options to element searches, like saved date and library status. (VPE-2726)

Any entered search term is no longer highlighted in the titles in the element list. (VPE-2956)
Fixed Issues

Element searches are no longer limited to what is already loaded in the client, but will be performed over all elements in the database. (VPE-2634)

Fixed an error in the preview panel that occurred when toggling Auto-refresh in IE. (VPE-2745)

Fixed MOS Items backward compatibility issue between different Pilot Edge versions. (VPE-2618)
